Captain Archer and Lieutenant Reed visit a mining facility in order to track down a Xindi.

Features:

Jack's Review
This one was pretty cool. Archer's intensity increased dramatically since the attack on Earth and watching Bakula evolve the character is fascinating. The mining boss is perfectly played - disgusting and creepy.

Jack's Review
While very well acted, this story is sub-par. I classify this one with Voyager's much maligned "Threshold". I was going to give is a 2....but the ending moral dilemma garners the extra half point.

A slave girl Archer rescues from an alien bazaar seeks refuge aboard Enterprise but betrays the crew instead.

Features:
Stardate:

This one is good overall - but I find it hard to believe that Archer would have trusted the girl at all considering the scope of his mission.

A Beauty and the Beast-like tale involving Ensign Sato encountering a potentially helpful telepathic on a deserted world.

Features:
Stardate:
Air Date: 10/15/03
Director: Roxann Dawson

Jack's Review
Easily my least favorite episode of the show. It seems like the writers couldn't figure out a way to get Archer the info he needed on the Xindi, so they came up with a cheat to advance the show. Still well acted and directed.

Jack's Review
A damned fine story with a brain-wrecking timeline twist. Still, I have said before, Trek does time travel better than any show in history...and this one is a lot of fun.

Investigating a planet found to be inhabited by humans, the crew find a town resembling the American Old West.

Features:

Jack's Review
I love it when Star Trek mixes in with other genres. This one, an old west story, has some great back story and a plausible reason for the stagnation of the western culture. Excellent.

I thought I was going to hate this one. I thought for sure that they were going to...well, I won't spoil it for you. This one turned out to be one of the most heartfelt episodes so far. Connor Trinneer knocks it out of the park.

Okay - a time travel episode that stars Leland Orser and Jeffrey Dean Morgan? I am totally on board. Creepy. Fun. Hilarious at times. The drive-thru scene is worth the price of admission.

Jack's Review
This one is well acted with a terrific story. So why only three and a half? I hate it when someone takes over a starfleet vessel. It makes me gnash my teeth. And while the outcome is good, until then, I was seething at the blindly religious fools....
