So, why did I make this site? Well, obviously, I am a huge Star Trek fan. I love the optimistic and positive messages Star Trek offers viewers. There is hope for humanity. We can overcome the problems of today and come together as a species for the betterment of all.
Back in 2012, I set up a version of this site for myself to help me track the episodes I watch and record my thoughts. I am an avid binge-watcher and as I rewatch episodes, I often refer to my own reviews to see what each episode is about and how well I liked them. After a while I thought "I bet others might enjoy having a site like this," and here it is!
I should say that I am in no way affiliated with CBS, Paramount, or Star Trek in any way. I am a web developer from Ohio. This site is 100% home grown and is intended to provide entertainment and information only. I don't share data with anyone and your accounts are protected with the most powerful safeguards I could muster.
I hope you enjoy the site. I hope you find it useful as you explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations boldy going where no one has gone before.
Live long and prosper,
-Jack
I would like to thank a few people for sounds, screenshots, and inspiration.
For the tech nerds out there, like me, this site was created from scratch using HTML5, Bootstrap 5, jQuery, and Adobe ColdFusion. It's a work-in-progress, like every site. I have been a web developer for 25 years. I also do graphic design and server administration.
