A nice start to the series. The faceoff with Picard really adds to things too. Seeing Sisko being belligerent towards Picard at first and then learning to move past his misguided anger shows what kind of commander he will become.

This one feels like the Hirogen from Voyager with a different twist. The alien even looks like the Hirogen too. I am glad that Voyager added much more depth to the hunter and hunted species.

Oh dear god...yeah this one is terrible. The aliens sound like the Pakleds at times and Q the rest of the time. Just plain awful. This one reminds me of the clown episode of Voyager (The Thaw) only it is much worse.

Very strange episode. The initial premise turns into something a tad odd and the lack of explanation of the lifeforms is a lost opportunity. Maybe they will come back?
